Locala Infant Feeding Team

For parents in Kirklees, Locala offers  friendly, expert support in small group sessions, in clinics, by phone and at home if needed. They follow UNICEF Baby Friendly standards to support breastfeeding, bottle feeding and mixed feeding.

The Infant Feeding Team can become involved in your care if you feel you need some support with feeding your baby. The support is based around breastfeeding and bottle feeding. They employ IBCLCs (Lactation Consultant), who can provide a full feeding assessment and refer to tongue tie clinics if necessary.

Open 24 hours, the National Breastfeeding Helpline offers friendly, non-judgemental, independent, evidence-based breastfeeding and infant feeding support and information to anyone in the UK who needs it.
