Huddersfield Bosom Buddies is a free, not for profit, breastfeeding support group, offering compassionate and evidence-based care to look after you and your baby on your feeding journey. Whether you're exlusively feeding, pumping, or combi feeding, our volunteers are here for you. Everyone welcome.

Weekly groups
Huddersfield Bosom Buddies is a friendly, safe space for local parents navigating the ups and downs of feeding their babies.
No judgement, just support.
We meet every Tueday at The Nest in Holmfirth, from 9.30 - 11.30am.
We also have a new group starting on Fridays at Slaithwaite Community Centre, 9.30 -11.30am. (Starts 18 September 2026 - term time only)
It's completely free, and there's no need to book. Just turn up, and stay for as long as you need.
Not just about
feeding support
Our group is not just about clinical support. It's time for you, where you can meet like-minded parents who just get it. We offer free tea and coffee and biscuits, and have a Whatsapp group for all your 3am questions! Come as you are, we can't wait to meet you.
Our volunteers
Our peer supporters are trained by the ABM (Association of Breastfeeding Mothers). We can answer questions about feeding, weaning, sleep, mental health... whatever is on your mind, we've probably been there. Our group is completely free, and we can signpost you to further help if needed.
